Abstract

The study emphasized the positive potential of Chat GPT4 which was ignored. The vast training data was the potentiality which could lead to theorizing in cultural turn in the Translation Studies field in the next step the standardization framework suggested and the strategies mentioned. The validated questions were derived from the works of cultural turn theorists and approved by the scholar as part of the structured interview. The proposed theory by Chat GPT4 and standardized referring to the existing cultural theories. The gathering opinions process from Translation Studies scholars using a structured interview based on Likert scale assessments to evaluate ChatGPT4. The data analysis procedures focused on the accuracy of ChatGPT4’s answers concerning scholar's opinions and references. The outcomes were connected to task-oriented benchmarks (Factual/contextual understanding, coherence, and ambiguity resolutions). Findings indicated a 29.3 %weakness in analyzing the data by Chat GPT4. The ambiguity resolutions were the total of neutral answers 44.8%. The capacity to theorize by Chat GPT 4 is 100% because all rater scholars accepted the CIT. For coherence and summarization, the gathered data indicated it was more related to prompts engineering. The potential to theorize concerning the existing theory is 77.7%. The standard of theorizing by Chat GPT4 is 68.9 %. The most highlighted effect of this research is opening a new way for the researcher to commit their effort to it, as mentioned in this research AI chatbots have positive potential, so the researcher shed light on only one dimension that was ignored by others.
